Swiss Re in Mexico City seeks a dual‑focus professional to support Reinsurance Property & Casualty Markets, combining business coordination with underwriting analysis. You will work with Underwriting and client teams, verify terms, manage deal timelines, and ensure data accuracy for informed decisions.

This is a balanced role emphasizing cross‑functional collaboration and client interaction, with impact on portfolio performance and governance across markets.

Formación

• University graduate with a degree in natural science or a quantitative field.
• Minimum three years of experience within the Property & Casualty (Re)insurance industry.
• Data expertise and attention to detail; comfortable with large data files.
• Proficient with Microsoft 365 apps, including Power BI, SharePoint, PowerPoint and Word.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to communicate findings.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee day-to-day business operations for an assigned portfolio segment, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements and internal control standards.
• Verify contract terms and conditions against agreed deal parameters and internal guidelines.
• Track deal lifecycle milestones and ensure timely handoffs across functions.
• Escalate operational risks or data quality issues proactively to maintain strong governance.
• Partner with global colleagues to align best practices and consistent standards across markets.
• Enter contractual deal information into systems for consumption by Finance, Accounting, Claims and Reserving.
• Check contract terms and analyze submission data, investigate data issues, and support costing tools.
• Communicate with clients, clarify issues, and participate in negotiations when needed.
• Analyze submission data and resolve discrepancies to ensure underwriting accuracy.
• Support portfolio overviews and data-driven analysis to enable informed underwriting decisions.
