Qualifications

• Master's degree in Thermal Engineering or related field.
• 2+ years of engineering experience.
• Strong fundamentals in heat transfer, thermodynamics, and numerical methods.
• Experience with HVAC/R or power plant equipment.
• Experience programming in Python, Modelica or C++.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain calculation engines for HVAC products and sales tools.
• Apply heat transfer, thermodynamics, and numerical methods to engineering algorithms.
• Collaborate with optimization engineers to develop advanced algorithms.
• Work with cross-functional teams to translate requirements into solutions.
• Support integration of engines into modeling/configuration platforms.
• Ensure model accuracy, robustness, and maintainability through validation and testing.
• Contribute to documentation and knowledge sharing.
