Corning Incorporated in Reynosa, Mexico, is seeking a motivated HR intern to support daily HR operations and drive automation initiatives. The intern will help transform manual HR processes into automated solutions and coordinate programs for employees, including unionized staff.

You will assist with data collection, reporting, and HR metrics, help organize events, and collaborate on the design, testing, and implementation of AI-based solutions to increase efficiency.

Formación

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, Human Resources, Industrial Engineering, Information Systems or a related field.
• Bilingual (Spanish and English).
• Proactive and self-motivated attitude.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
• Basic knowledge of automation tools, data analysis, or workflow platforms is a plus.

This segment is classified into two main product groupings – carrier network and enterprise network. The carrier network product group consists primarily of products and solutions for optical-based communications infrastructure for services such as video, data and voice communications. The enterprise network product group consists primarily of optical-based communication networks sold to businesses, governments and individuals for their own use.

Role Purpose

Support the Human Resources team by assisting with daily HR operations while driving initiatives focused on process automation and employee engagement. The intern will help transform manual HR processes into automated solutions, support the execution of a program, and coordinate initiatives for unionized employees, ensuring timely and effective implementation. This role is ideal for a student interested in technology, artificial intelligence, HR innovation, and continuous improvement.
