Role Summary:

The Human Resources Generalist reports to the People & Culture Lead and provides support across both the Human Resources and Learning & Development (L&D) functions. The HR Generalist will be responsible for tasks related to recruitment, onboarding/offboarding, learning initiatives, and culture and engagement events. This is a work from home position indefinitely. The ideal candidate will be expected to provide their own workstation and stable internet connection.

Responsibilities:

• Execute workflows related to team member lifecycle (recruitment, onboarding, onboarding, and internal transitions)
• Administrate HR systems and databases (e.g. HRIS, LMS)
• Draft and share internal communications related to HR events and policy updates
• Organize and facilitate culture and engagement events
• Coordinate the procurement and distribution of company merchandise, gift cards, and equipment
• Support the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures
• Act as a first point of contact for sensitive team member issues
• Educate team members on HR policies and ensure consistent compliance
• Distribute L&D resources, ensure compliance with quality protocols, and promote company-wide learning programs

Candidate Skills & Qualities

• Fluent in English
• 2+ years of HR experience
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
• Confident in delivering virtual presentations and facilitating remote sessions
• Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills, especially in cross-cultural environments
• Highly organized, with the ability to multitask and adapt quickly to change
• Strong critical thinking and sound judgement - able to distinguish when to apply standard procedures and when to make exceptions or escalate
• Professional, trustworthy, and discreet when handling confidential information
• Proficient with Google Workspace (Calendar, Sheets, Slides, Docs, etc.)

Nice to have / bonus:

• Visual design skills (e.g. Canva, Adobe, or equivalent)
• Familiarity with international employment law
