People & Development Operations Lead at Hays | Internal Recruitment, Learning & Development

We have a fantastic opportunity within our People & Culture Team for A HR Business Partner in our Mexico office. We are looking for an individual who is eager for a new challenge and determined for success. The ideal candidate must be able to:

  • Provide vision and leadership in the development, design, and implementation of effective, sustainable, and transformative people strategies, programs, and services aligned with the company vision, global agenda, and values.
  • Take a progressive approach to People & Culture strategies and initiatives, identifying new and modern programs, best practices, and trends that support attracting, developing, and retaining employees.
  • Act as a trusted advisor and consultant to senior and executive leaders on talent planning, organizational design, engagement, retention, employee issues, performance, succession planning, culture, and people development.
  • Analyze new hire, attrition, engagement, productivity, EDI, and exit data and trends, issue spotting and providing holistic strategic solutions, developing and implementing improvement plans.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on employment laws impacting the business, providing counsel and guidance to business leaders on risk, cost, and requirements of certain business decisions (e.g., new market expansion, new role creation, government or public work, process exceptions).
  • Ensure proper policies and procedures are in place and up to date, partnering with the legal department as needed.
  • Diagnose issues and define root causes to design proper interventions, taking an integrated holistic approach to developing solutions.
  • Anticipate potential leadership gaps and develop solutions, predicting requirements for critical talent, identifying risks to the delivery of business strategy, and bringing the right resources to support it.
  • Collaborate closely with the P&C leadership team on any people programs or projects to ensure success.
  • Develop and design effective and modern performance management programs and reviews.
  • Support Senior Leadership with succession planning, 360 feedback, leadership calibration, and PDPs.
  • Develop and conduct relevant HR training for business units and follow up to ensure training objectives are met.
