The Sr HR Assistant is both a strategic and hands-on role that provides Human Resources support to the fulfillment center at Amazon Mexico.
Key Responsibilities
- PEOPLESOFT
- Ensure data integrity in HRIS (Peoplesoft) systems.
- Maintain HRIS systems daily: entering new employees, issuing time cards, updating employee information, benefits enrollments, etc.
- Coordinate attendance tracking with managers to ensure correct schedule patterns and crew sheets.
- PAYROLL
- Coordinate with station & shift managers using labor-tracking tools to ensure correct schedules.
- Complete and distribute reports as needed; provide customer service regarding payroll, benefits, and scheduling.
- ADMINISTRATIVE
- Assist internal customers with benefits, orientation, and inquiries.
- Support Recruiting/Safety departments with orientations, safety talks, interviews, and coordination.
- Conduct new-hire orientation administration.
- Manage badging processes in collaboration with managers and security.
- Track and report HR metrics such as attendance, attrition, overtime, and engagement.
- Complete employment and payroll verifications.
- Maintain employee files and ensure all documents are scanned in Mydocs.
- Handle communication and interpersonal interactions professionally.
- Maintain confidentiality regarding payroll, benefits, and employee issues.
- Provide customer-oriented support.

Qualifications
- At least 1 year of human resources experience
- At least 1 year of experience with Microsoft Office applications
- At least 1 year of customer service experience
- Bachelor's degree in business, HR, or related field
- 2+ years of HR functions experience
- Knowledge of HRIS or Applicant Tracking Systems (preferred)
- Experience with Payroll Systems and HRIS
