This role entails analyzing compliance strategies, developing safety programs, and implementing a robust health and safety management system. The successful candidate will ensure legal compliance and foster a safe working environment, while promoting diversity and inclusion in the workplace.

Formación

HSE Safety Leader

Objective

We have a critical need to strengthen the safety and risk prevention culture within our operations. As our operations grow in size, employee numbers, and process complexity, we require a specialized role to coordinate, supervise, and implement comprehensive workplace safety strategies.

Main Responsibilities

• Analyze strategies for legal and regulatory compliance
• Evaluate risks identified by the plants and coordinate SITE strategies and annexes
• Develop preventive program strategies
• Implement and monitor the regional occupational health and safety management system
• Support certifications and external audits of the system

Position Requirements

• Degree in Industrial, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering or related fields; master's degree preferred
• Experience with safety legislation (Federal, State, Municipal), ISO 45001 Lead Auditor Certification
• Skills in risk analysis, strategic leadership, developing and implementing strategic plans, leading multidisciplinary teams, change management, and networking
