Job summary

Baker Hughes is seeking an HSE Digital Applications & Platform Specialist to support, upgrade, and deploy enterprise HSE platforms with a focus on cloud environments and data integration.

You will engage with GCRA requirements, translate them into scalable configurations, and work across Sphera, SAP, and Databricks integrations while promoting robust deployment practices and policy compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of DT application support, enterprise systems, or digital platforms.
• Hands-on experience with Azure cloud environments (Dev, Pre-Production, Production).
• Experience supporting application upgrades, release management, and environment promotion strategies.
• Knowledge of data and integration technologies including SQL, APIs, and enterprise platforms.
• Experience with troubleshooting, system performance monitoring, and issue resolution.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills translating requirements into technical solutions.
• Familiarity with Waterfall and Agile (Scrum/Kanban) methodologies and ITIL-based service management.
• Excellent communication and collaboration across technical and business teams.

Responsibilities

• Support lifecycle management of enterprise HSE applications, including upgrades and patches.
• Enable Content Design Workshops with GCRA Team and translate SDS updates into configurations.
• Contribute to application roadmap activities and digital product lifecycle execution.
• Support design, configuration, testing, and deployment of platform enhancements.
• Prepare and manage Azure environments (Dev, Pre-Prod, Prod).
• Execute application upgrades, validate changes in Pre-Prod, promote to Prod.
• Ensure server readiness, stability, and rollback planning during deployments.
• Support integration across Sphera, SAP, Databricks, and APIs.
• Provide hands‑on troubleshooting, system monitoring, and performance optimization.
• Collaborate with Digital Technology, HSE, and vendor teams for reliable delivery.
• Maintain system documentation and user support materials.
• Support policy compliance with DT, cybersecurity standards and regulatory requirements.
