A leading engineering company is seeking a Safety and Environment Manager to oversee occupational health and safety conditions. The role requires ensuring compliance with legal requirements and fostering a safety culture. Candidates should hold a Bachelor's degree with 2-3 years of relevant experience and possess strategic and proactive leadership skills.

Role Overview
Manage the Safety and Environment System, and occupational health and property safety conditions to prevent occupational risks and diseases and environmental impacts, complying with the legal requirements of the organization and the objectives of the Business, as well as generate strategies to strengthen a safety culture with personnel focused on safety first, safety always.
·Coordinate activities to review unsafe conditions as well as internal audits and the development of procedures and formats under ISO 14001 standards and the security system of our corporation.
·Manage the organization's hazardous and non-hazardous waste management activities to maintain the best safety conditions for personnel.
·Ensure legal compliance with the requirements of rules and regulations that apply to the organization.
·Ensure compliance with safety instructions, actions for zero accidents, handling of hazardous materials, follow-up to actions derived from inspections and audits, etc. on a daily basis.
·Generate hazard identification analysis and risk assessment associated with business activities, carry out actions to prevent and control them.
·Validate new areas and processes through safety inspections in hazardous and specialized jobs, as well as suppliers, according to the annual program.
·Support and provide solutions to safety issues for operations and other processes in matters of safety conditions, environment, occupational health and property.
·Coordinate the activities of the property security area and the cleaning company on a daily basis.
·Carry out the development of documents, procedures, formats and safety and environmental projects under the IS0-14001 standard and , in accordance with the annual program.
·Manage personal protective equipment, suppliers and HSE contractors, on a daily basis.
·Deliver Inductions and HSE trainings every week. Manage the organization's annual EHS training program.
·Conduct security tours and internal audits of ISO14001, every six months.
·Generation of reports and indicators of safety and environment, in the CREDIT 360° system, monthly.
·Develop plans and programs for emergency care, according to the annual program.

Level of Education and Experience:
·Required schooling: Bachelor's degree or Engineering completed.
·From 2 to 3 years of Professional Experience in the Position.
·Intermediate English (Business Conversation)
·Technical Knowledge:
·Knowledge of the ISO14001 Standard.
·Knowledge of legal requirements in the field of Security (PROFEPA/ISO14001/Civil Protection, etc.)
·Knowledge of Padlock and Tagging Programs.
·Certification as an Instructor (Preferred)
·English (60% minimum)
Required Software:
·1. MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Outlook) at one level: Advanced
·2. Windows Server at an Intermediate level
·3. Windows Client Version at an Intermediate Level
Certifications:
·1. ISO 14001 Internal Auditor
·2. Internal Instructor (preferred)
