Responsible for directing and monitoring HR KPIs, including absenteeism, turnover, retention, and costs, ensuring that staffing objectives are met at the plant level.
Responsibilities:
- Direct and monitor HR KPIs, ensuring the reduction of absenteeism and turnover.
- Coordinate actions to meet minimum staffing requirements at the plant level.
- Listen, follow up, and resolve conflicts presented by managers, supervisors, and employees while maintaining effective rapport with staff.
- Supervise the activities of HR Generalists and indirectly oversee the Coordinators of Recruitment, Payroll, Compensation and Benefits, and Employee Services.
- Develop and ensure the implementation of policies and procedures that comply with the EICC labor and ethical code, taking corrective actions in case of non-compliance.
- Create strategies for employee retention and reduction of turnover and absenteeism.
- Develop strategies for the Succession Plan for key positions and promote personnel growth.
- Administer the proper application of incentives, salary increases, and other benefits for all employees.
- Prepare statistical reports for corporate, providing key information for decision-making.
- Administer compliance with the Federal Labor Law and the Internal Work Regulations.
- Coordinate and execute actions to promote workplace culture and maintain employee engagement.
- Ensure compliance with hiring and termination processes.
- Guarantee proper follow-up on coaching and Performance Improvement Plans (PIPs) for the entire workforce.
What You Need to Join Our Team:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role.
- Solid knowledge of labor legislation and HR practices.
- Excellent communication skills in English and Spanish.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to manage priorities effectively.
- Strong decision-making and strategic thinking skills.
- Team-oriented mindset and ability to build interpersonal relationships.
