• The Suresmile HR Sr Manager supports the Mexicali plant and the Costa Rica and Richardson digital lab team in most of the HR related matters.

Key Responsibilities

S/he will lead one HR Mgr in Costa Rica and one in Mexicali.

• Implement people strategies and solutions that support business-specific objectives
• Lead initiatives that benefit Pillars by establishing collaborative trust, employee engagement, leadership effectiveness, and workforce productivity
• Advocate and champion the service delivery model within the business
• Mitigate organizational people risk and increase HR process adherence

Key Activities

• Oversee effective adoption of HR processes, policies, and procedures
• Implement people strategies and solutions that support business-specific objectives
• Create value by driving adoption of workforce strategies and solutions
• Coach and develop managers to expand their people management capabilities and practices
• Mitigate organizational people risk and increase HR process adherence
• Guide and advise Managers regarding talent issues
• Advocate and champion the service delivery model and endorse effective adoption of HR processes, policies, and procedures and coach managers to drive
• Understand and represent the business and people
• Develop people strategy, HR Plan, and HR budget for the business
• Key interface for payroll / HROps
• Union interface
• HR Compliance
• Controls headcount and people costs
• Act with leaders to develop the DS culture and enhance local climate

Qualifications

• Living in Mexicali (Mexico) or Calexico (USA)
• Fluent English and Spanish
• Be able to balance strategic / long term focus with tactical / short team activities
• Graduation in Administration, Psychology, or related fields.
• Broad and critical thinking, with global perspective
• Be familiar with Maquiladoras
• Commitment to quality (operational excellence) and a focus on solutions and process improvement
• Be able to create local solution as well as implement CoEs proposal
