The role involves strategic partnership with management, overseeing HR operations, and ensuring compliance with local and global standards. The ideal candidate should have extensive HR experience and strong communication skills in English and Spanish.

Formación

  • Over 10 years of international generalist HR experience.
  • Knowledge of the industrial sector is a plus.

Descripción del empleo

As the HR Manager for North America, you will act as a strategic business partner to the regional management teams and be accountable for local HR operations, ensuring that all HR initiatives support local business goals and the broader A2MAC1 Group strategy.

You will be responsible for driving the HR agenda and ensuring compliance with both local regulations and global standards.

The ideal candidate has an international generalist HR background with hands-on leadership experience.

Scope: ~150 employees in the region, 2 direct reports

Tasks & Responsibilities
  1. Partner with business leaders to support operational and strategic objectives through effective people management and HR practices
  2. Design and implement local policies in accordance with Group policies
  3. Ensure employee lifecycle effectiveness, in line with Group policies:
  4. Drive recruitment, being responsible for the countries’ recruitment plan, working closely with the global talent acquisition function to meet targets
  5. Lead onboarding of new hires
  6. Implement global and local performance and talent development initiatives
  7. Ensure compensation fairness in line with the Group’s compensation strategy
  8. Drive employee engagement initiatives
  9. Act as a change agent to support organizational transformation and growth in a dynamic business environment
  10. Monitor and report on HR metrics to inform decision-making and drive functional excellence
  11. Oversee compliance with local labor laws, maintaining the highest standards of integrity and ethics
Professional Background
  1. Bachelor’s degree or higher
  2. Over 10 years of international generalist HR experience
  3. Knowledge of the industrial sector is a plus
