Job summary

FORVIA HELLA is seeking an HR Manager to partner with business leaders, shape the organization, and own the employee experience from hire to retire. You will lead HR initiatives across recruiting, performance, development, and engagement in a manufacturing context.

You will balance strategic workforce planning with hands-on HR support, coaching managers and partnering with frontline and senior leadership to drive talent, retention, and organizational effectiveness.

Qualifications

• Progressive HR experience across recruiting, employee relations, talent management, performance management, compensation, organizational development, and HR operations.
• Manufacturing or automotive experience and supporting both hourly and salaried workforces.
• Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, Organizational Development, or related discipline.

Responsibilities

• Build recruiting strategies and talent pipelines for critical roles.
• Coach managers through performance, development, corrective action, and employee-relations situations.
• Lead Talent Reviews, Succession Planning, Individual Development Plans, and leadership development.
• Strengthen employee engagement through surveys, action planning, recognition, and communication.
• Support compensation, benefits, merit, payroll, job grading, and HR reporting processes.
• Use labor-market and HR data to influence workforce and organizational decisions.
• Lead change-management and organizational transformation initiatives.
• Support workers’ compensation, leave, accommodations, mobility, immigration, and complex employee cases.
• Analyze turnover and employee feedback and turn insights into meaningful retention actions.
• Bring the people perspective to plant leadership decisions.

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS

You bring progressive HR experience and broad exposure across recruiting, employee relations, talent management, performance management, compensation, organizational development, and HR operations.

• Manufacturing or automotive experience and experience supporting both hourly and salaried workforces are strongly preferred.
• A bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Organizational Development, or a related discipline is expected.
• Most importantly, you bring the ability to operate as both a strong HR practitioner and a credible business partner.
