The Human Resources Generalist will coordinate and administer a variety of programs and activities covering multiple HR activities. This position may coordinate various aspects of the employee’s compensation, recruitment and employee relations programs.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Assures employee’s files are updated and keeping in compliance with company and local regulations.
  • Responsible for hourly wage structure administration, supervising procedures are followed by supervisors.
  • Administration of Union Permanent labor contract.
  • Manage day to day Labor relations situations.
  • Assist with postings of employment opportunities.
  • Maintain current HR policies, Responsible for the Headcount Report.
  • Coordinate the organization of social events such Picnic, Christmas party, Mother’s day, Plant meeting, etc., in general comply with the Communication Plan.
  • Administration of anniversary gift.
    Coordinate and guarantee that processes as well as HR programs are being correctly carried out.
    Contribute to develop good HR postures for the Line Managers and make sure they become autonomous, by guiding them through the HR tools, systems and processes.
    Guarantee a good social climate
    Contribute to occupational health.
    Participate in employees' professional development.
    Provides consultation to management on Talent, Performance and Competency Management topics
    Guides, supports and consults with location employees regarding career advancement and employee relations issues

Qualifications

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Relations, Business Administration or related field

Experience

Five (3 to 5) years of experiencein manufacturing environment preferred.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • MS Office proficiency.
  • Human Resources Information Systems experience (Tress, etc.)
  • Labor Law and applicable regulations knowledge.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Responsible person well organized.
  • Team oriented.
  • Sense of urgency.
  • High level of service
  • Professionalism and punctuality.
