A leading company in the staffing industry seeks an HR Generalist to support their operations in Mexico. The incumbent will coordinate recruitment, manage compliance with labor regulations, and ensure a positive onboarding experience for new hires. This role requires bilingual capabilities and a strong understanding of local employment laws.

Descripción del empleo

Supports assigned business segments by assisting with staffing needs through full-cycle recruitment activities, including strategy development, candidate sourcing, interviewing, offer preparation, and onboarding coordination. This role manages the requisition and offer approval processes, prepares Mexico-specific employment contracts, and implements creative sourcing strategies such as job fairs, networking, and outreach to vocational institutions to build candidate pipelines. The HR Generalist also presents qualified candidates to hiring managers, provides coaching on effective interviewing and selection practices, and ensures a smooth onboarding experience for new hires in compliance with local labor requirements.

  • Assists with managing temporary service agencies supporting group(s) hiring needs by assisting with coordinating candidate flow and selection and by providing ongoing review and interaction with agencies regarding cost and service and quality expectations.
  • Conduct New Hire Orientations and ensures acknowledgement and adherence to the TTI Mexico Internal Labor Regulations.
  • Support the TTI Corporate Benefit Team by communicating benefit plan changes to employees under the direction of the MX Sr. HR Business Partner. Assist with employee disability administration and worker’s compensation.
  • Partner with the TTI Corporate payroll team and The Mexico payroll provider with the Sr. HR Business Partner’s final approval to ensure accurate and timely processing of the Mexico employee payroll.
  • Accountable for maintaining Mexico employee personnel records in accordance with legal and corporate standards.
  • Maintains a positive employee relations environment within group(s) and minimizes employee-related problems by assisting the Sr. HR Business Partner in providing individual counseling and advice to managers, supervisors and employees. Under the direction of the Sr. HR Business Partner, assists with investigating employee complaints (e.g. discrimination, harassment, unfair treatment) in a prompt and fair manner and recommends appropriate courses of action to resolve concern and minimize risk.
  • Assist in ensuring consistent application of TTI Human Resources Policies and Procedures and employment/labor laws within supported group(s) by communicating and interpreting policies/procedures to managers, supervisors and employees. Monitors policy compliance and elevates concerns to Sr. HR Business Partner as appropriate. Recommends new policies or policy/procedure changes as appropriate.
  • Under the direction of the Sr. HR Business Partner, works with supported group(s)’ Management to administer the Corrective Action/Performance Management Process in a fair and consistent manner. Gathers documentation and recommends for approval any involuntary separations to Sr. HR Business Partner.
  • Effectively coordinates the exit interview process for assigned employees by scheduling exit interviews for departing employees. Proactively surfaces areas of concern to Sr. HR Business Partner and recommends appropriate course of action and retention strategies.
  • Performs special programs/projects as assigned by Sr. HR Business Partner (e.g. Job Description Development, Annual Performance/Merit Review process, Employee Events, Analysis) in a timely and accurate manner.

SKILLS & CERTIFICATIONS

  • Bilingual (Spanish/English) required.
  • Position requires knowledge of all Microsoft Office applications at the intermediate level.
  • Solid understanding of Mexico laws and regulations.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are required to provide data and reports for Mexico government compliance, management information, continuous improvement recommendations and other needs as determined by the organization.
