Satyam Venture Engineering Services in Mexico is seeking a dedicated HIL Test Engineer to design, implement, and maintain Hardware-in-the-Loop test systems for automotive, aerospace, or industrial control applications. You will develop test benches, configure simulation environments, and execute robust test cases for embedded controllers while integrating real-time plant models.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechatronics, Computer or Electronics engineering.
• Experience with HIL systems (e.g., dSPACE, NI, Vector tools)
• Strong knowledge of embedded systems and real-time control
• Familiarity with CAN, LIN, Ethernet, and FlexRay protocols
• Experience with MATLAB/Simulink and model-based development
• Programming/scripting skills (Python, C, CAPL or similar)

Responsabilidades

The HIL Test Engineer is responsible for designing, executing, and maintaining Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) test systems to validate embedded control systems, primarily in automotive, aerospace, or industrial applications. This role ensures that software and hardware components function correctly under simulated real-world conditions.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, configure, and maintain HIL test benches and simulation environments
• Design and execute test cases for embedded systems and control algorithms
• Integrate real-time simulation models (e.g., plant models) into HIL systems
• Automate test scripts using tools such as Python, MATLAB/Simulink, or CAPL
• Perform validation of ECUs (Electronic Control Units) under various operating scenarios
• Analyze test results, identify defects, and support root cause analysis
• Collaborate with software, hardware, and systems engineering teams
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and functional safety requirements (e.g., ISO 26262)
