Global Connect Technologies in Mexico seeks an experienced HIL test engineer to perform system-level testing and validation for automotive systems. You will develop test cases for HIL environments and maintain test systems, using tools such as NI TestStand, AutomationDesk, and ECU-Test.

Candidates should have 3+ years in automotive testing, degrees in Electrical & Electronics Engineering or Electronics & Communication Engineering, and strong knowledge of CAN/OBD/J1939/UDS.

Formación

• 3+ years of experience in automotive testing or system validation.
• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering.
• Strong automotive domain experience with system testing.
• Hands-on experience with HIL systems and troubleshooting.
• Experience with HIL platforms/tools such as NI, dSPACE, Vector, or ETAS.
• Hands-on experience with NI TestStand, AutomationDesk, ECU-Test, or similar test automation tools.
• Good understanding of test automation scripting and debugging.
• Knowledge of CAN, OBD, J1939, and UDS protocols.
• Powertrain testing/validation experience is an added advantage.

Responsabilidades

• Perform system-level testing and validation for automotive systems.
• Develop and execute test cases and test scripts for HIL environments.
• Configure, operate, troubleshoot, and maintain HIL test systems.
• Perform automated testing using NI TestStand, AutomationDesk, ECU-Test, or similar tools.
• Develop and debug automation scripts for testing and validation.
• Analyze test results, identify issues, and support troubleshooting and root-cause analysis.
• Work with automotive communication protocols including CAN, OBD, J1939, and UDS.
• Collaborate with software, hardware, and systems engineering teams to resolve test-related issues.
• Support test documentation, reporting, and continuous improvement of testing processes.
