Job summary

Volcanix Automation seeks experienced Controls Engineers to support high-speed industrial automation projects across North America. The role involves PLC programming, system commissioning, and integration for advanced manufacturing systems.

The position will be based in the West GTA region of Ontario, Canada, with a workshop environment for approximately 7 months. After assignments, opportunities for short-term on-site work in the US or other countries may arise, with long-term on-site options

Qualifications

• Experience with PLC programming, including Allen-Bradley PLCs.
• Knowledge of SCADA/HMI systems (PanelView).
• Experience with vision systems and robotics a plus.

Responsibilities

• Program PLCs and Commission systems for high-speed manufacturing.
• Integrate controls solutions across North American projects.
• Provide on-site support and commissioning at customer sites.
