Job summary

Vishay Intertechnology, Inc. seeks skilled personnel to ensure production plans align with line outputs and maintain efficiency.

The role involves front-end manufacturing tasks, adherence to internal work instructions, and safety rules, with budget planning and resource allocation where applicable. The candidate will perform wafer/component preparation, process according to specs, and engage with maintenance or external providers as needed, while reporting issues and complying with EHS

Qualifications

• Familiarity with machine setup and basic CNC programming is beneficial.
• Understanding of quality standards and process specifications.
• Awareness of EHS rules and safe production practices.

Responsibilities

• Preparation of wafers, components or semi-products and monitors related hand-stock.
• Processing components or semi-products/products according to specifications and quality standards.
• Performing basic machine-related setup and/or CNC / SPS-programming, if required.
• Cooperating with maintenance technicians and/or external service providers in repair issues.
• Executes task(s), as ordered or explained. Reports any failure or dysfunctionality to responsible employees or supervisor.
• Obeys all work rules and EHS regulations as valid for the work task(s) assigned.

Job description

Ensuring compliance with production plans and production line outputs and keeping production assigned overall efficient. Adhering or ensuring adherence to relevant internal work instructions, safety rules and applicable regulations (e.g., EHS). Planning or contributing to unit's budget, allocating resources and keeping manufacturing cost as planned. Executing, supervising or managing manufacturing front-end processes a assigned, according to specified procedures, e.g.:

• Preparation of wafers, components or semi-products and monitors related hand-stock.
• Processing components or semi-products/products according to specifications and quality standards.
• Performing basic machine-related setup and/or CNC / SPS-programming, if required. Cooperating with maintenance technicians and/or external service providers in repair issues.
