We are seeking a results-driven Head of Partnerships to lead the identification, development, and management of strategic partnerships that enhance our growth in Mexico. The Head of Partnerships will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive partnership strategy that supports the company’s growth strategy.

This role will focus on driving strategic partnerships to:

  • Get qualified leads
  • Sourcing and managing best-in-class institutional partnerships
  • Boosting Marco’s positioning and branding in Mexico by associating with trusted partners

This role requires a proactive, entrepreneurial approach to sourcing and curating high-quality partnership opportunities, high-profile organizations, and content providers. The ideal candidate will possess a strong ability to navigate complex negotiations, build lasting relationships, and align partnership strategies with business objectives.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead the acquisition, management, and optimization of strategic lead-generation partnerships (institutional and brokers) to drive sustained business growth.
  • Identify high-value marketing partners and collaborate with the Marketing team to secure and execute impactful partnerships.
  • Build and manage partnerships with organizations that support women’s empowerment, entrepreneurship, and international trade participation.
  • Develop and negotiate partnership agreements that ensure mutual value and long-term success.
  • Work closely with Marketing and Legal to streamline partner onboarding and engagement, ensuring smooth execution.
  • Identify and maximize revenue opportunities within existing partnerships through marketing collaboration and conversion optimization.
  • Shape the long-term partnership strategy by leveraging market trends, performance insights, and innovative approaches.
  • Collaborate with Sales to follow up on partnership-originated deals
  • Ensure compliance with partnership agreements and operational processes, mitigating risks and improving efficiency.

What skills do you need

  • 4 years of experience in partnership management, fintech sales, channel development, or strategic alliances, demonstrating leadership without requiring mentorship.
  • Sales and account management skills, including experience with fintech sales (accounts, wallets, cards, payments), and the ability to build joint go-to-market plans with partners, conduct product enablement sessions, lead quarterly business reviews to update progress against KPIs and GTM plans, and support sales teams in achieving revenue targets.
  • Experience collaborating with Marketing in webinar, branding and content collaborations with partners.
  • Proficiency in business tools such as Salesforce and Hubspot for CRM management
  • A bachelor’s degree in business or a related field
  • Capable of managing complex partner ecosystems, navigating market changes, and consistently delivering value through collaboration, creativity, and responsiveness.
