Project Title : Head of Networking (Contractor) - Interim Manager for Global Infrastructure

Project Description :

We're supporting a client in securing an experienced Head of Networking to take on an interim leadership role . The position involves managing global network architecture, leading two international teams, and driving strategy, security, and operational excellence across the organization.

Role : Head of Networking

Location : Hybrid or On-site (EU-based Barcelona preferred)

Engagement Type : Freelance / Interim Manager (in collaboration with Robert Walters)

Key Responsibilities :

• Lead network strategy, operations, and architecture
• Manage international network engineering teams
• Oversee security, compliance, and performance
• Handle budgets, vendors, and complex projects
• Ensure the scalability and resilience of network systems

Requirements :

• 8+ years in networking; 6+ in leadership
• Proven experience with Cisco ACI , Fortinet , Secure Access
• Strong in project management , budgeting , and cloud networking
• Fluent in English and German (Preferably)
• Certifications such as CCNP, CCIE, and Fortinet NSE are a plus
• Strategic mindset with hands-on execution ability
• Strong communicator and team leader
• Adaptable to international, fast-paced environments

Location Requirement : Must be based in the EU (Barcelona preferred)
