Empresa Confidencial is seeking a strategic Head of Finance for Mexico to report to the CFO and collaborate closely with the General Manager of Mexico. You will drive financial strategy, planning, and performance across the local market, ensuring compliance with Mexican standards and regulatory requirements.

You will lead finance teams, manage external service providers, and provide decision-ready insights to optimize investments and working capital in a fast-paced, unstructured environment.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
• Postgraduate studies or MBA preferred.
• Proven experience in senior finance leadership roles.
• Strong understanding of Mexican accounting standards and fiscal frameworks.
• Excellent communication skills in Spanish and English.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and execute financial strategies aligned with corporate objectives.
• Prepare and monitor budgets, forecasts, and financial projections.
• Manage cash flow, working capital, and overall financial performance.
• Oversee accounting operations, ensuring accuracy and adherence to Mexican standards.
• Deliver timely and transparent financial reports to local and regional management.
• Supervise the preparation and filing of tax obligations.
• Analyze business performance and provide insights to support strategic decisions.
• Identify risks, opportunities, and cost optimization initiatives.
• Partner with business leaders to evaluate new projects and investments.
• Ensure compliance with local accounting, tax, and labor regulations.
• Strengthen internal controls and implement sound financial policies.
• Manage relationships with auditors, tax consultants, and financial institutions.

What you will do

Financial Strategy and Planning

Develop and execute financial strategies aligned with corporate objectives.

The skills and experience you will bring

Education and Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.

Postgraduate studies or MBA preferred.

Proven experience in senior finance leadership roles.
