Zurich 56 Company Ltd in Mexico City is seeking an experienced Guidewire Lead to provide technical leadership and oversee end-to-end implementation of Guidewire InsuranceSuite solutions, including PolicyCenter, ClaimCenter, and BillingCenter.

You will design, configure, and optimize Guidewire modules, mentor the team, coordinate with analysts, PMs, QA and client teams, ensure adherence to best practices, and drive quality through design reviews, tests, and release planning.

Formación

• 10+ years of experience in software development with strong expertise in Guidewire InsuranceSuite.
• Hands-on experience with implementations and upgrades of PolicyCenter, ClaimCenter, and BillingCenter.
• Strong background in Java, API development, integration frameworks, and insurance domain processes.
• Proven experience leading technical teams and managing cross-functional project stakeholders.
• Strong communication skills in English; bilingual Spanish a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Lead design, configuration, customization, and deployment of Guidewire InsuranceSuite modules (PolicyCenter, ClaimCenter, BillingCenter).
• Provide technical direction and architectural guidance to development teams across the SDLC.
• Act as the primary escalation point for complex Guidewire technical issues, ensuring timely resolution.
• Review and validate solution designs, business rules, integration patterns, and data models for best practices.
• Implement and enhance Guidewire functionalities including Messaging, SOAP/REST Web Services, Batch Processes, Authentication, and Data Model updates.
• Lead and coordinate integrations with external systems such as rating engines, policy admin platforms, claims systems, document management, and enterprise services.
• Ensure performance optimization, system stability, and maintainability across Guidewire environments.
• Mentor and guide the development team, promoting high technical standards and efficient delivery.
• Work with Business Analysts, Project Managers, QA and client teams to ensure clarity of requirements and alignment with technical solutions.
• Provide workload estimations, define work packages, and support planning, delivery, and release management.
• Coordinate activities across onshore and offshore teams to ensure smooth execution and alignment.
• Oversee unit testing, integration testing, and quality validation efforts.
• Ensure technical documentation is accurate, complete, and aligned with implementation standards.
• Validate deliverables to ensure compliance with business requirements and technical specifications.
