Job summary

Alignerr Corp. is seeking a Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC) Analyst focused on AI training and evaluation. The role contributes to building AI systems that reason about security, risk, and compliance, leveraging frameworks like SOC2, ISO 27001, and NIST.

This is a flexible, fully remote hourly contract offering 10–40 hours per week. You will review policy documents, assess real-world scenarios, and generate data to improve AI understanding of governance and risk.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of hands‑on experience in GRC, compliance, risk management, or information security.
• Solid familiarity with one or more industry frameworks - SOC2, ISO 27001, NIST CSF, CIS Controls, or similar.
• Comfortable reading and interpreting policy documents, audit reports, and control frameworks.
• Detail-oriented with strong written reasoning and analytical skills.
• Self‑motivated and able to work independently in an async remote environment.

Responsibilities

• Review, analyze, and evaluate security policies, controls, and procedures for accuracy and completeness.
• Classify and assess real-world compliance scenarios across frameworks such as SOC2, ISO 27001, NIST, and others.
• Evaluate risk statements, control mappings, and audit-style documentation.
• Generate and validate high-quality training and evaluation data used to improve AI reasoning in GRC contexts.
• Provide structured, precise written feedback that helps AI systems learn nuanced compliance logic.
