Job summary

Edscha Group is seeking a Foreign Trade & Logistics Coordinator in Mexico to oversee import/export operations, ensure regulatory compliance, and optimize international transportation. You will liaise with customs brokers, freight forwarders, and internal teams to maintain smooth material flow and accurate documentation.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in a related field, 5 years of manufacturing experience in foreign trade, and advanced SAP and English skills.

Qualifications

• 5 years of experience in Foreign Trade and Logistics within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of import/export regulations and customs processes.
• Experience working with customs brokers and transportation providers.
• Advanced SAP proficiency.
• Advanced English communication skills (written and verbal).
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate import and export operations in compliance with customs and foreign trade regulations.
• Manage customs brokers, freight forwarders, and transportation providers.
• Ensure accurate and timely customs documentation and records.
• Monitor international shipments and resolve logistics issues to avoid supply chain disruptions.
• Coordinate with internal departments including Purchasing, Customer Service, Production Planning, and Finance.
• Maintain compliance with IMMEX, Annex 24, Annex 30, and other applicable foreign trade requirements.
• Analyze logistics costs and identify opportunities for process improvements.
• Prepare foreign trade reports and support internal and external audits.
• Manage inventory reconciliation related to import/export transactions.
• Ensure ERP transactions are accurately recorded in SAP.
