Avnet in Mexico seeks a Subject Matter Expert for comprehensive management of ITAR and EAR compliance, ensuring adherence to all import/export regulations locally and globally. The role leads regional strategies and collaborates with the Global Trade Compliance Team to guide regulatory interpretation and program implementation.

Responsibilities include audits, action plans, tool design, and regional training to sustain a strong compliance program across Avnet’s locations.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 6+ years in roles with 2+ years supervisory exposure.
• Experience interpreting export/import trade laws and regulations.

Responsabilidades

• Provide strategic leadership for export and re-export activities regionally.
• Develop and implement the Global Trade Compliance Program Manual.
• Oversee compliance audits and corrective action plans across locations.
• Assess gaps and recommend tools, processes, and staffing needs.
• Engage with government agencies and maintain registrations.
• Implement global trade compliance training programs.
• Lead regional IT tools for trade compliance and data management.
• Manage cross-functional advisory committee for process improvements.
