Emerson Guadalajara is seeking an engineer to simplify and automate test processes for manufacturing clients. You will design test hardware and software, standardize quality testing across sites, and integrate test workflows with factory MES systems.

Responsibilities include mentoring technicians, maintaining documentation, and driving digitization to aid decision making, while collaborating with Quality on failure analysis and process improvements.

Formación

• Associate degree in electronics or equivalent.
• 5-10 years of experience in electronics manufacturing.
• Demonstrated problem-solving expertise.
• Familiarity with engineering practices and interpretation of drawings.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Programming experience (Delphi, C/C++, VB, Python, Ladder Logic, XML, HTML, SQL, CSS, Linux Bash).
• Ability to lift 30 lbs and distinguish colors.
• Bachelor’s degree in electronics or computer science preferred.
• Working knowledge of CAD, SAP and Agile.

Responsabilidades

• Design, develop and implement production test hardware and software.
• Standardize product quality test processes across all manufacturing sites globally.
• Configure server and network infrastructure required for test processes.
• Mentor technicians and guide troubleshooting efforts.
• Develop and maintain system documentation and training materials.
• Drive digitization tools to provide partners with timely information.
• Define and maintain automated data capture on test equipment for quality analysis.
• Collaborate with Quality engineers on failure analysis to prevent escapes.
