Job summary

Sulzer is seeking a seasoned Senior Procurement Manager in Mexico to strategically source materials and services, optimize total cost, and ensure uninterrupted supply chains for manufacturing. You will lead negotiations, manage supplier relationships, and collaborate with Planning, Manufacturing, Engineering, Quality, Finance, and Logistics to deliver value.

Responsibilities include driving cost reductions, implementing TCO improvements, and supervising regional/global productivity initiatives

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in a relevant field.
• 5–8 years of experience in purchasing, sourcing, or procurement.
• Proven experience negotiating with domestic and international suppliers.
• Knowledge of material planning and inventory management.
• Experience in manufacturing, automotive, electronics, or industrial environments.

Responsibilities

• Procurement and Supply Management: manage procurement of direct/indirect materials and services.
• Ensure material availability aligned with production and customer demand.
• Monitor and execute supply plans to prevent shortages and minimize excess inventory.
• Lead supplier selection, qualification, and development processes.
