Qualifications

• 8+ years in a similar automotive purchasing role.
• Experience managing remote teams.
• Experience managing direct materials programs and budget USD 300M.
• Strong communication and emotional intelligence.
• Ability to coordinate multiple activities simultaneously.
• Customer service orientation; knowledge of regulations and policies.
• Planning and organization of activities and services.
• Collaborative work with internal teams and customers.
• Management of development and training programs.
• Advanced English skills.

Responsibilities

• Purchasing performance program management using acquisition input.
• Involve suppliers and appoint a Program Purchasing Leader for development phases.
• Ensure supplier selection aligns with strategy and participate in complex negotiations.
• Monitor program costs, delivery deadlines, and quality per APQP.
• Maximize sourcing leverage for program and financial performance.
• Coordinate with Commodities on programs and pipeline.
• Provide accurate management reporting with stakeholders.
• Consolidate risks, challenge recovery plans, and escalate deviations.
• Lead and develop the Program Buyers team and ensure procedures.
• Support transfer to Plant and Productity Purchasing teams to minimize costs.
