Forvia seeks a Program Buyer in Querétaro to anticipate program requirements, select and pilot suppliers, and ensure cost and delivery targets are met. You will be part of the core program team, coordinating with global and local stakeholders to optimize landed costs and performance.

Responsibilities include supplier selection, RFQ management with the panel, and leading steering committees while ensuring cross-functional alignment in a matrix organization.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Business or applicable work experience.
• Program buyer/manager experience in an industrial environment.
• Experience working in an international environment.

Responsabilidades

• Identify and consult suppliers, manage RFQs based on the panel provided.
• Negotiate with suppliers and with Commodity Buyers to select final supplier.
• Track performance during the program phase: cost, quality, and delivery.
• Ensure early involvement of Series Buyers before the series phase.
• Manage specific mandated suppliers when requested and agreed with customers.
• Lead global steering and sourcing committee meetings to optimize landed cost and performance.
