Job summary

GE Healthcare is seeking a hands-on Materials Planning Leader with a strong background in materials planning and inventory management. You will lead a team in a Kinaxis/Oracle-driven environment, ensuring supply continuity and production readiness across global operations.

The role emphasizes cross-functional collaboration with Sourcing, Manufacturing, Engineering and Quality, driving continuous improvement and inventory optimization while meeting strict regulatory and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, supply chain, business, operations, or related field.
• 4+ years in Materials Planning, Production Planning, Supply Planning, Inventory Management, or Supply Chain Operations.
• Experience leading people and developing teams in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of MRP concepts, inventory management, and material planning processes.
• Advanced English proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team responsible for material planning and execution activities.
• Drive inventory optimization, material availability, and production continuity.
• Partner with Sourcing, Manufacturing, Engineering, Quality, and Operations teams to ensure supply chain performance.
• Lead material allocation and prioritization activities to support customer and business requirements.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on inventory reduction, planning processes, and supplier performance.
• Coach and develop team members while fostering accountability and operational excellence.
• Support strategic supply chain projects and business transformations.
• Monitor key planning metrics and implement corrective actions when required.
