Dover Corporation's Vehicle Service Group is seeking a materials and purchasing specialist for a hybrid role in Tlanepantla, Mexico. You will manage inventory levels, Kanban, and material releases to ensure on-time deliveries while controlling costs.

Formación

• High school graduate with minimum 2 years of college with the ability to read blueprints.
• College degree preferred.
• Basic understanding of machine capabilities and shop processes beneficial, including machine tooling and production and fabrication processes.
• Minimum of 2 years experience in materials and/or purchasing or industrial and/or related field experience.

Responsabilidades

• Maintain optimum inventory/kanban levels and ensure on-time deliveries while controlling costs.
• Plan releases and ordering of materials to achieve on-time deliveries and ideal inventory investment.
• Investigate and solve shortages-related problems and follow policies to maintain fair supplier relations.
• Manage kanban for material delivery and report on inventory data integrity.
• Prepare and issue reports; support NPD stage gate processes under the Commodity Manager.
• Perform other duties as assigned and ensure accountability across tasks.
