You will plan material releases, coordinate with suppliers, and support data integrity for inventory and procurement processes in a hybrid work setting.

Formación

  • High school graduate with 2 years of college and ability to read blueprints.
  • College degree preferred for this role.
  • Experience in materials or purchasing is beneficial.

Investigates and solves problems resulting from material shortages.* Follows materials practices, contracts, assessments, and policies to ensure honest, fair, and ethical relationships with our suppliers.* Implements policies/procedures/processes that ensure the accurate processing of inventory and production transactions. Includes responsibility for the kanban process for material delivery.* Manages assigned commodities for inventory/data integrity, cycle counts, obsolete/excess inventory, returned material, engineering change notice/new product launch material planning, and supplier performance evaluation.* Prepares and issues all necessary reports and/or correspondence.* Fully support NPD stage gate process under the direction of the Commodity Manager.* Perform other duties as assigned.* Ethics & Work Standards: Maintain the highest ethical and work standards, while promoting the same attributes in co-workers and others. College degree preferred. Basic understanding of machinecapabilities and shop processes beneficial, including machine tooling andproduction and fabrication processes.**Experience:** Minimum of 2 years experience in materials and/or purchasing orindustrial and/or related field experience.**Supervision:** Works under limited supervision. Handles routine matters onown initiative.**Responsibility:** Exercises moderate degree of judgment.
