Overview
We are seeking a highly strategic and analytical individual to join our team as a Global Market Expansion and Business Development Manager. The successful candidate will lead the charge in identifying new market opportunities and and steering the implementation of business expansion plans in support of our A&I strategy and fostering relationships both internally and externally to support our A&I business expansion strategies.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive market analysis to identify new business opportunities and contribute to strategic planning, action plans, and goal setting for new region expansion.
- Develop and lead initiatives to support business growth in new regions, including establishing local companies, acquiring necessary licenses and qualifications, and recruiting local talent.
- Implement and prioritize expansion programs in new markets, sharing best practices and learnings to replicate successes across more regions.
- Establish strong relationships and build trust with internal stakeholders and external partners to secure the resources necessary for successful market entry and growth.
- Coordinate the establishment of local companies, including obtaining licenses and acquiring necessary qualifications to operate within new markets.
- Develop cost-effective solutions and tailor financial institution cooperation models to ensure business long term success.
- Build and maintain local ecosystems, establishing broad networks to promote business development and cooperative opportunities within new regions.
- Prepare comprehensive checklists for new market analysis and entry, conduct local market research, and document key partner network relationships for strategic development.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Finance, or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in strategy, corporate development, or a related field, with a proven track record in new market entry and business expansion.
- Exceptional analytical and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and translate it into actionable insights.
- Strong project management and leadership skills, capable of managing multiple initiatives simultaneously and under tight deadlines.
- Superior relationship-building and negotiation skills, comfortable working with a variety of internal and external stakeholders, including senior management and external partners.
- Familiarity with financial modeling and experience in financial analysis to support strategic decisions.
- Proactive, hands-on approach to problem-solving, with a strong sense of ownership and determination to achieve ambitious goals.
- Willingness to travel as required for the role to meet with potential partners, explore new markets, and engage with local teams.
- Fluent in English and Chinese (nice to have), with excellent communication and presentation skills to effectively convey strategies and insights across different audiences.
