CONFIDENCIAL is seeking an import/export coordinator to manage schedules for maritime and air collections worldwide, ensure timely transit and customs clearance, and maintain a delivery calendar from the plant. You will verify HTS classifications and documents, and leverage trade agreements to minimize taxes.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in international trade, logistics, administration or similar.
• 2 to 5 years of experience in customs and/or traffic.

Responsabilidades

• Schedule maritime and air collections in Asia, Europe, and the United States according to INCOTERMS.
• Track the transit of collections, ensuring customs clearance and transportation.
• Manage an import shipment delivery calendar.
• Optimize transit times and costs for air and sea freight.
• Verify the correct HTS materials (import/export) and required documents for authorities.
• Knowledge of international trade agreements to ensure these are leveraged for imports, avoiding unnecessary taxes.
• Follow up on exports according to the scheduled shipments by the plant, ensuring collections are scheduled, sending documents to the customs broker, and ensuring material delivery to the agreed destination.
• Maintain punctuality of all import/export data and reports to mitigate future risks.
• Ensure familiarity with the processes and procedures that are interrelated with the position.
