Job summary

KTP Kunststoff Palettentechnik GmbH in Zapopan, Mexico, is seeking a Logistics Specialist focusing on supply chain cost optimization and freight savings. You will analyze land, air, and ocean freight, negotiate with carriers, implement multimodal strategies, and track KPIs to drive continuous savings.

You will coordinate with customs brokers in Mexico, the US, Canada, Europe, and Asia, validate documentation, and ensure IMMEX compliance while supporting audits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in international trade, logistics, business, or related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in international logistics, multimodal transportation, or foreign trade.
• Experience in IMMEX or automotive environments is a strong plus.
• Strong negotiation and cost-saving mindset with analytical approach.

Responsibilities

• Negotiate with carriers, freight forwarders, and consolidators.
• Analyze land, air, and ocean freight rates to generate savings.
• Implement cross-docking and multimodal strategies to improve efficiency.
• Track KPIs such as cost per kilo, cost per lane, and monthly rate variations.
• Define Incoterms by project, customer, and lane.
• Coordinate pickups, ETAs/ETDs, and final deliveries.
• Validate import/export documentation (invoices, packing lists, certificates).
• Coordinate with customs brokers across Mexico, the US, Canada, Europe, and Asia.
• Ensure IMMEX documentation compliance and support audits.
• Review HS codes, regulations, and trade restrictions.
