OPmobility in León, Mexico, seeks a Global IT Infrastructure Specialist – Network to provide L2/L3 support for network infrastructures across regions, including DC/server room LAN/WAN, Site/Factory LAN/WLAN, external access, SD-WAN, DHCP, DNS, monitoring, NAC and firewalls.

With 5+ years in IT infrastructure management and strong TCP/IP/DNS/DHCP knowledge, you will drive network provisioning, cloud service integration, disaster recovery and adherence to IT standards while collaborating with

Formación

  • 5+ years of experience in IT infrastructure management.
  • Deep knowledge of LAN, WAN, VPN, routers, switches and firewalls.
  • Knowledge of antivirus solutions, cybersecurity practices, and compliance requirements.
  • Proficiency in TCP/IP, DNS, and DHCP; ITIL experience.

Responsabilidades

  • Provide L2/L3 support for network infrastructures (DC & Server Room LAN/WAN, Site & Factory LAN/WLAN, External Access, SDWAN, DHCP, DNS, monitoring, NAC, FW).
  • Assist provisioning, configuration, and deployment of network devices (routers, switches, firewalls).
  • Manage integration and operation of network services within cloud environments.
  • Implement disaster recovery and business continuity plans for network operations.
  • Ensure IT standards, policies, and best practices are followed at group level.
  • Collaborate with regional IT teams to ensure consistent service delivery across regions.

Reporting to theGlobal IT Infrastructure Operations Leader – Network,the Global IT Infrastructure SpecialistprovidesL2/L3 support for network infrastructures,across Regions and Business Groups.

He/she maintains direct contact with regional IT teams, ensuring consistent service delivery and troubleshooting assistance in network management.

Main responsibilities include:
NETWORK INFRASTRUCTURE MANAGEMENT
  • Provides L2/L3 support for network infrastructures (DC & Server Room LAN & WAN, Site &Factory LAN & WLAN, External Access, SDWAN, DHCP, DNS, monitoring, NAC, FW), ensuring smooth and efficient operations.
  • Contributes to the provisioning, configuration, and deployment of network devices, includingrouters, switches, and firewalls.
  • Manages the integration and operation of network services within cloud environments,ensuring seamless connectivity and performance.
  • Implements disaster recovery and business continuity plans fornetwork operations, ensuring network resilience and data protection.
  • Ensures the Implementation and uphold of IT standards, policies, and best practices defined at a Group Level
STAKEHOLDER COLLABORATION
  • Contributes to maintaining a comprehensive documentation for the Service Desk to limit the intervention of Level 2 support, improving efficiency and first-call resolution rates.
  • Coordinates with regional IT teams to provide expert support and troubleshooting assistance in network management, ensuring consistent service delivery across regions.
Required profile & experience :
  • IT specialization or equivalent by experience.
  • At least 5 years of experience inin IT infrastructure management, with a focus on datacenter operations, server management, and cloud services.
  • In-depth knowledge of network infrastructure, including LAN, WAN, VPN, routers, switches, and firewalls.
  • Knowledge of antivirus solutions, cybersecurity practices, and compliance requirements to ensure secure and compliant network operations.
  • Proficiency in network protocols and standards (e.g., TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP) to ensure optimal network performance and reliability.
  • Experience with IT service management frameworks, such as ITIL, to ensure best practices in service delivery and support for network operations.
  • Effective teamwork andcommunication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Stronganalytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to adapt to changing technologies and work environments.
  • Commitment to providing high-quality service and support to internal and external stakeholders.
