Job summary

Versigent seeks a Global Environmental Health & Safety Manager to lead EHS programs across multiple regions, ensuring regulatory compliance and proactive safety culture. You will partner with engineering, operations, supply chain and leadership to integrate EHS into business processes and capital projects.

The role requires extensive EHS leadership across manufacturing sites, ISO standards expertise, and travel. Fluency in English is essential; additional languages are a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental, Health & Safety, Engineering, Environmental Science or related field.
• Minimum 10 years of progressive EHS experience in a manufacturing environment.
• At least 5 years leading EHS programs across multiple sites or regions.
• Experience implementing and improving EHS management systems.
• Strong knowledge of ISO 14001, ISO 45001 and global EHS regulations.
• Expertise in functional and machine safety, risk assessment and safeguarding.
• Experience managing environmental compliance programs (air emissions, water, wastewater and waste).
• Strong leadership, communication, project management and analytical skills; ability to influence stakeholders.
• Fluency in English; additional languages a plus.
• Willingness and ability to travel internationally.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the global program owner and SME for key EHS programs (functional and machine safety, HOP, SIF prevention, ergonomics, chemical management, life safety).
• Develop, implement, and continuously improve global EHS standards, policies, and management systems.
• Strengthen global processes for identifying, monitoring, and governing environmental, health, and safety regulations.
• Lead continuous improvement of the EHS Management System and ensure ISO 14001/45001 conformance.
• Partner with engineering, operations, supply chain and other functions to integrate EHS into processes and projects.
• Develop and execute global strategies to enhance EHS capability, leadership and engagement.
• Lead or support EHS audits, investigations, root cause analyses and corrective actions.
• Monitor regulatory requirements, industry trends, and evolving risks; drive proactive improvements.
• Analyze EHS metrics, identify trends, and prioritize risks for improvement.
