Resumen
The Global Customer Accounts Manager II manages relationships with consumers and other businesses. They are responsible for ensuring their company is strategically positioned to engage new clients.
Responsabilidades
- Responsible for developing, leading, and managing key accounts. Accountable for project outcomes including KPI reporting, customer service, routing, problem resolution (including accounts receivable), vendor compliance, and customer interaction.
- Develop solutions that address customer needs, coordinate with other departments, and work closely with clients to ensure their needs are met.
- Extract and analyze account data, providing sales and service quality forecasts to management.
- Create and deliver Monthly Business Reviews (MBR) and Quarterly Business Reviews (QBR) data to meet or exceed global sales and client expectations.
- Adhere to all government and regulatory compliance standards related to AES, customs clearance, ITAR, screening of denied parties, and dangerous goods regulations.
- Review account budgets, pricing, quoting, and seek to improve cost efficiency.
- Assist global sales staff and offices with customer relations, issue resolution, and develop client solutions to generate additional business.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Comply with all company policies and standards.
Calificaciones
Education• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent (Required)
Experience• 10+ years relevant experience in freight forwarding operations, account management, or sales within the supply chain industry preferred. 3-5 years in a direct customer-facing role (sales/account management) is preferred.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities • Advanced understanding of air and ocean freight, imports and exports (extensive experience in one or more areas required).
• Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and other MS Office software.
• Strong multi-tasking skills with keen attention to detail.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work within a virtual team across multiple time zones and geographies.
• Capable of sourcing, formatting, and communicating/presenting data effectively to internal and external clients, including virtual or conference room settings.
• Able to facilitate global conference calls, possibly after hours, involving customer or operations teams worldwide.
• Solution-oriented problem-solving skills in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, organizational, and planning skills.
• Strong analytical abilities, strategic thinking, and business acumen.
• CargoWise, AS400, dangerous goods, and ITAR experience is a plus.
Licenses and Certifications • ITAR, Dangerous Goods, CargoWise certifications are desirable but not mandatory (Preferred).
