Ideal candidates will have 3–5 years as a Commodity Buyer, 2–3 years in global automotive commodity management, and fluent English.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience as a Commodity Buyer.
• 2-3 years of experience in global commodity management within the automotive sector.
• Experience in the automotive/manufacturing industry.
• Hands-on experience with plastics, stampings, and textiles.
• Fluent English communication skills (written and spoken).
• Advanced Excel proficiency for data analysis and reporting.
• Strong negotiation and supplier relationship management skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop regional and global commodity purchasing strategies (3-5 year outlook).
• Conduct annual price negotiations to meet budget savings targets.
• Secure competitive prices in the global supply market for assigned commodities.
• Lead the global implementation of commodity strategies, including regional action plans.
• Collaborate with Supplier Quality to monitor and resolve supplier issues.
• Support VAVE projects for cost reduction initiatives.
• Manage full supplier lifecycle from onboarding to phase-out, including market intelligence and risk tracking.
