Job summary

Flowserve is seeking a highly analytical Business Analyst to support the Global Booking System (GBS). You will partner with global Sales, Finance, and Operations to ensure data accuracy, drive improvements, and support month-end close processes.

The role requiresExcel, Power BI, and SQL expertise, with a focus on governance, analytics, and reporting across a global commercial landscape.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a business, finance, analytics, information systems, engineering, economics, or related field.
• 2-5 years of experience in Business Analysis, Sales Operations, Commercial Analytics, or related field.
• Experience with large enterprise applications and data environments.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Power BI development and dashboard design experience.
• Experience with SQL and relational databases.
• Familiarity with ERP, CRM, or commercial transaction systems.
• Strong data validation, troubleshooting, and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as system administrator and SME for Global Booking System (GBS), ensuring reliable daily operation and issue resolution.
• Process booking adjustments, transfers, hierarchy changes, and sales attribution corrections.
• Support user onboarding, security access, and user support within GBS.
• Validate data, investigate discrepancies, prepare reconciliations, and resolve exceptions.
• Coordinate booking consolidation, reporting, and close-related processes with Finance, IT, and Sales Ops.
• Design, develop, and maintain dashboards and reporting packages for operational and executive needs.
• Build analytical models and ad hoc analyses on bookings, sales performance, and trends.
• Develop automation tools to improve data quality and reduce close-cycle time.
• Perform root-cause analysis and support governance, standardization, and best practices.
• Maintain system documentation, runbooks, and training materials.
• Collaborate with Sales, Finance, Commercial Excellence, IT, and regional leaders on global initiatives.
