Job summary

Flowserve, S. de R.L. de C.V. (Mexico) is seeking a highly analytical Business Analyst to support the Global Booking System (GBS). You will partner with global sales, finance, and operations to ensure accurate booking data, drive governance, and deliver reporting solutions.

The role involves system administration, data validation, dashboard development, and process improvements to shorten close cycles and enhance commercial intelligence across regions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in business, finance, analytics, information systems, engineering, economics, or related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in business analysis, sales operations, analytics, reporting, or data analytics.
• Experience with large enterprise applications and data environments.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Power BI development and dashboard design experience.
• Experience with SQL and relational databases.

Responsibilities

• Serve as system administrator and SME for Global Booking System (GBS) including daily operations, maintenance, monitoring, and issue resolution.
• Process booking adjustments, credit transfers, hierarchy changes, territory realignments, and sales attribution corrections.
• Support user onboarding, role administration, security access management, and user support within GBS.
• Validate booking data, investigate discrepancies, prepare reconciliations, and resolve booking exceptions.
• Coordinate booking consolidation, reporting, and close-related processes with Finance, IT, and Sales Operations.
• Design, develop, and maintain dashboards and reporting packages for operational and leadership needs.
• Build analytical models and ad hoc analyses on bookings, sales performance, productivity, and commercial trends.
• Develop automation tools using Power BI, SQL, Excel, Power Query to improve data quality and reduce close-cycle time.
• Perform root cause analysis and support governance, audit readiness, standardization, and best practices.
• Maintain system documentation, runbooks, and training materials.
• Collaborate with Sales, Finance, Commercial Excellence, IT, and regional leaders on global initiatives.

Your Role and Impact Flowserve is seeking a highly analytical and technically minded Business Analyst to support the Global Booking System (GBS), one of the company's most critical commercial applications. This role serves as a key partner to global sales, finance, commercial excellence, and operations teams by ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and accessibility of booking data used to drive business decisions. The successful candidate will support the administration and enhancement of GBS, develop reporting and analytics solutions, assist with month-end close activities, and drive continuous improvement initiatives across commercial processes. This position offers exposure to global stakeholders and significant opportunities to influence commercial intelligence, data governance, and process transformation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the system administrator and subject matter expert for the Global Booking System (GBS), ensuring reliable daily operation, maintenance, monitoring, and issue resolution.
• Process booking adjustments, credit transfers, hierarchy changes, territory realignments, and sales attribution corrections.
• Support user onboarding, role administration, security access management, and user support within GBS.
• Validate booking data, investigate discrepancies across source systems, prepare reconciliations, and resolve booking exceptions.
• Coordinate booking consolidation, reporting, and close-related processes with Finance, IT, and Sales Operations teams.
• Design, develop, and maintain dashboards and reporting packages that support operational, executive, and global commercial leadership needs.
• Build analytical models and ad hoc analyses covering bookings, sales performance, productivity, funnel performance, and commercial trends.
• Develop automation tools using Power BI, SQL, Excel, Power Query, and related technologies to improve data quality and reduce close-cycle time.
• Perform root cause analysis, identify process improvement opportunities, and support initiatives related to governance, audit readiness, standardization, and best practices.
• Maintain system documentation, operational runbooks, and training materials.
• Collaborate with Sales, Finance, Commercial Excellence, IT, and regional business leaders on global initiatives.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Analytics, Information Systems, Engineering, Economics, or related discipline.
• 2-5 years of experience in Business Analysis, Sales Operations, Commercial Analytics, Reporting, Data Analytics, or related field.
• Experience working with large enterprise applications and data environments.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Power BI development and dashboard design experience.
• Experience working with SQL and relational databases.
• Familiarity with ERP, CRM, or commercial transaction systems.
• Strong data validation, troubleshooting, and analytical skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting global stakeholders preferred.
• Experience supporting sales operations or commercial excellence functions.
• Experience with booking, order, revenue, or sales performance reporting.
• Exposure to Salesforce, SAP, Oracle, Azure, DevOps, or similar enterprise platforms.
• Experience working within a global shared services or COE environment.
