Oferta confidencial is seeking a senior procurement professional to oversee material purchases for product lines and MRO needs. You will plan acquisitions, negotiate terms, and ensure cost-effective purchasing while aligning with company policies.

The role requires strong vendor relations, strategic planning, and leadership across a global operation. Ideal candidates have 7+ years in commodity purchasing/planning, 3+ years in leadership, and solid ERP/SQL/VB skills.

Qualifications

• 4-year degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience as approved by executive management.
• 7+ years of experience in commodity purchasing/planning; 3+ years in a leadership role.
• Advanced knowledge using Visual Basic and/or SQL.
• Understanding of ERP tools (MAPICS, Baan or equivalent).
• Ability to communicate effectively in both written and verbal formats.
• Strong financial understanding and risk analysis abilities.
• Experience supporting a 24/7 global business operation.

Responsabilités

• Oversee the procurement of materials to support product lines and MRO supplies.
• Develop plans required to complete acquisition of components and equipment within company policies.
• Approve negotiation of purchase orders within authorized limits.
• Monitor purchases for compliance and economical pricing; resolve major material issues.
• Meet with major vendors to discuss market conditions and company interests.
• Foster reliable relationships with suppliers and develop metrics to measure performance.
