Gi Group Holding is seeking a Senior Purchasing Leader in Mexico to identify and foster supplier relationships, and to oversee the implementation of supply and production strategies. You will lead a purchasing organization covering direct and indirect buyers, import/export and services procurement, with about 10 direct reports.

Qualificações

• 8+ years in Purchasing / Supply Chain within manufacturing environments.
• 3+ years managing purchasing teams and working with top management.
• Hands-on experience in customs, import/export, international logistics.
• Background from industrial machinery equipment companies preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Lead and develop a purchasing organization covering direct buyers, indirect buyers, import/export and services procurement (~10 direct reports).
• Own and improve OTIF performance for critical materials and high-volume components.
• Build and execute purchasing strategies to reduce total cost, including customs duties/costs, logistics cost, and supplier pricing.
• Ensure smooth execution of the full purchasing cycle
• Manage global supplier relationships and coordinate with logistics/forwarders/brokers for imports and exports.
• Guarantee compliance in trade operations (documentation, customs processes, supplier paperwork, Incoterms alignment)

Qualifications

• 8+ years in Purchasing / Supply Chain within manufacturing environments (preferably metal-mechanics, machinery, large-scale manufacturing or project-driven operations).
• 3+ years managing purchasing teams and working directly with top management.
• Strong hands‑on experience in customs, import/export, international logistics (ocean/air), and material planning.
• Preferred background from industrial machinery equipment companies
