Position PurposeFinance Manager HR - Manages, designs, and implements accounting policies and procedures affecting HR, IT, Legal, Finance, and Corporate Office functional areas. Responsible for developing, analyzing, and interpreting statistical, operational, and accounting information to assess operating results in terms of costs, budgets, policies, trends, and profit opportunities. Provides value-added information to management for decision-making.
Primary Accountabilities- Develop and manage HR, IT, Legal, Finance, and Corporate Office annual and quarterly operating plans, budgets, targets, and related analysis.
- Review, analyze, and interpret statistical and accounting information related to costs, budgets, trends, and profit opportunities within these areas.
- Verify compliance and proper alignment of functional areas with operating plan strategies and tactics, including timely communication of risks or deviations.
- Implement and review activities with internal clients to ensure key processes are well documented, enabling accurate financial reporting and internal control compliance.
- Manage period-end closing activities, including account reconciliations, and review of P&L and Balance Sheet deviations from plans and forecasts.
- Provide financial and accounting advice on new operating processes to ensure viability and proper tracking.
- Support financial evaluation and analysis of new initiatives to validate their viability, reporting findings to VPs and Directors.
Education & ExperienceLevel of Formal Education: Bachelor's degree (BA, BS) or equivalent.
Area of Study: Finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA is a plus.
Years of Experience: 5-7 years.
Type of Experience: Experience collaborating with key personnel across functions, familiarity with KPIs and performance metrics, retail experience preferred.
Special Certifications or Skills: Effective communication skills, strong interpersonal skills, ability to interact across levels, strategic thinking combined with operational execution.
Other/Preferred: Fully bilingual in English (writing, speaking, reading).
