Gi Group Holding in Hermosillo, Sonora, is seeking a Maintenance Manager for an international automotive company. You will plan, schedule, and supervise maintenance to maximize uptime, lead a team of technicians and contractors, and drive improvements through root cause analysis.

The role requires strong budgeting, safety culture, and cross-functional collaboration across Production, Quality, Engineering, and Supply Chain. On-site position based in Hermosillo.

Your new role

• Plan, schedule, and supervise preventive and corrective maintenance for production equipment to ensure maximum uptime.
• Lead and develop the maintenance team (technicians and contractors), assigning priorities, coaching performance, and enforcing discipline.
• Diagnose recurring equipment failures using root cause analysis and implement permanent corrective actions.
• Manage the maintenance budget, including spare parts, external services, and cost-control initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements, promoting a strong safety culture on the shop floor.
• Coordinate with Production, Quality, Engineering, and Supply Chain to support new launches, process changes, and continuous improvement.
• Maintain accurate maintenance KPIs and documentation (CMMS), reporting performance and driving improvements in MTBF/MTTR and reliability.
