Job Description

Private Market Manager / Lv. Senior

Location: Mexico City

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Private Market Manager to lead our commercial activities in the private channel, managing relationships with insurers, oncology centers, vaccine centers, insurance & HMO's, distributors, and subdistributors. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the pharmaceutical sector and proven skills in team management, commercial strategy development, and results analysis.


Key Responsibilities
  1. Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement commercial strategies for the private channel, aligned with the company’s overall objectives and focused on maximizing growth and profitability.
  2. Insurer Management: Establish and maintain strong relationships with insurers, negotiating agreements and terms that benefit the company and our clients.
  3. Team Supervision: Lead, motivate, and develop a sales and account management team, ensuring the achievement of objectives and the professional growth of team members.
  4. Results Analysis: Monitor and analyze the performance of the private channel, using performance metrics to identify improvement opportunities and adjust strategies as necessary.
  5. Cross-Department Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, product development, and compliance departments to ensure effective execution of commercial strategies.
  6. Budget Management: Develop and manage the budget for the private channel, ensuring efficient resource allocation to maximize return on investment.
  7. Reporting and Presentations: Prepare periodic reports on the performance of the private channel and present findings and recommendations to senior management.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Health Sciences, or a related field; an MBA is preferred.
  • Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in channel management, preferably in the pharmaceutical or healthcare sector.
  • Proven experience in managing relationships with insurers and developing successful commercial strategies.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to build effective relationships at all organizational levels.
  • Leadership and team management experience.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Financial acumen.
  • English proficiency.
