A leading company in the pump industry seeks a Financial Analyst to guide financial decision-making through analysis of operational and financial data. This role involves cost structure assessment, financial forecasting, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. Candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting and have 3–5 years of relevant experience.
Role Summary
As a Financial Analyst at Flowserve, you will play a key role in guiding financial decision-making by analyzing operational and financial data. You’ll assess cost structures, forecast trends, evaluate project margins, and support compliance and audit requirements. Your work will empower leadership with critical insights that drive profitability, accountability, and strategic planning.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive cost analysis and reporting, including project costing, gross margin analysis, and inventory evaluation.
Prepare and analyze bookings and backlog reports to ensure accurate monthly reporting of net backlog values.
Perform monthly reconciliations of balance sheets and profit & loss statements in compliance with US GAAP and local accounting standards.
Support Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliance through accurate reporting and adherence to Group Accounting Policies and statutory regulations.
Assist with the preparation of annual financial statements and statutory accounts.
Provide analytical support for ad hoc financial projects and business initiatives.
Preferred Experience & Skills
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and other advanced functions required).
Solid understanding of US GAAP and/or IFRS accounting standards and SOX compliance regulations.
Prior experience with structured ERP systems (such as Oracle or SAP) and consolidated financial reporting tools.
Manufacturing industry experience strongly preferred.
Familiarity with Microsoft Access is a plus.
Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail.
Effective written and verbal communication skills.
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
3–5 years of relevant financial analysis experience.
