WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
We’re seeking a detail-oriented and motivatedGeneral Accounting Junior Analystto join our dynamic Record to Report (R2R) team. In this role, you’ll support critical accounting operations including cash analysis, reconciliations, and general ledger reviews. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams across LATAM and North America, contributing to the accuracy and integrity of our financial reporting. Location: Mexico City
Modality: Hybrid - 2 days in-office per week and on dates required by supervisor (availability to come to the office is essential)
YOUR ROLE
Support daily, monthly, and annual accounting operations, including journal entries and account reconciliations.
Assist in the preparation, analysis, and reporting of financial transactions to ensure accuracy and compliance.
Perform cash account reviews and support banking and treasury-related activities.
Collaborate with internal teams and trading partners on intercompany transactions and reconciliations.
Respond to inquiries from business units, resolving or escalating issues as needed.
Maintain and update procedural documentation for R2R processes.
Contribute to the preparation of cash flow reports and financial summaries.
Ensure adherence to internal controls and accounting standards such as IFRS.
Build strong working relationships with stakeholders across LATAM and North America.
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and perform other duties as assigned.
YOUR BACKGROUND
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Experience
1–2 years of experience in general accounting or a shared services environment preferred.
Exposure to R2R processes and intercompany transactions is a plus.
Basic to intermediate knowledge of accounting principles and internal controls.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
Experience with ERP systems such as SAP or JDE is desirable.
Strong communication and customer service orientation.
Ability to prioritize tasks, work independently, and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
Bilingual in English and Spanish is required.
