GL Accountant (Trilingual: English, Spanish & Portuguese)

General Accountant

Ensuring the integrity and accuracy of the company’s financial records through timely recording, reconciliation, and reporting of accounting transactions. The General Accountant prepares month/quarter/annual closings, financial statement preparation, and compliance with internal policies and applicable accounting standards (IFRS/NIF) and Hexagons’s policies.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Record/Approve accounting entries (accruals, provisions, amortizations, adjustments).
• Review and maintain up-to-date general ledger accounts.
• Participate in cost analysis.
• Validate the integrity of modules (Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, Inventory, Treasury).
• Knowledge of IFRS 15 and IFRS 16.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual closings.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Perform monthly reconciliations of accounting and bank accounts.
• Manage treasury operations.
• Prepare information for internal and external audits.
• Ensure compliance with accounting policies and internal controls.
• Review tax calculations/manage external consulting.
• Control inventory, fixed assets, and depreciation.
• Payroll
• Participate in the preparation of the organization’s budgets.
• Preparing intercompany invoice calculations
• Ensuring compliance with INEGI/REPSE regulations

Work Arrangement

On-site work with the option to work from home, in accordance with company policies and procedures, and based on job responsibilities. (1 day of home office)
